Golf is Calling | Spring

Golf Canada reached out to us in early 2021 asking us to create video assets for their spring campaign “Golf Is Calling”. The task was to create engaging and energy filled videos using animation and stock footage. Their goal was to capitalize on the fact that more new golfers tried the sport in 2020 than ever before, due to pandemic restrictions over other activities. Targeting 2 age groups 18-34 and 35+ we created eye catching animations paired with stock footage to kick-off spring with some excitement around the sport. Working together with Golf Canada, we wrote copy and animated graphics to encourage golfers to get out on the course and enjoy the freedom of golf.

Golf is Calling | Summer

After a successful run of video assets for the launch of Golf Canada’s first campaign “Golf is Calling”, we were tasked to plan, shoot, and deliver video assets for the summer campaign as well. We started early in the year planning and scheduling shoots to guarantee a successful production. Over the the course of 3 on course shoots at TPC Toronto, 1 shoot Ambassador Golf Club, plus 1 shoot in studio. We accumulated a library of footage for this current campaign and for future use.

The Concept:
For this second part of the campaign we aimed to compare and contrast the many types of individual golfers and what makes them unique. In an effort to convey that golf is open for everyone, connecting many types of people through the same game. To do this, we opted to use a split screen technique to directly compare golfers and to highlight moments on and off the course. In the end everything came together perfectly creating an inclusive video where many golfers can find something to relate to. The campaign launch was a success and encouraged many golfers to make the most out of their summer this year.
